Join us on October 4th for an evening of local food, drinks, dancing and music.
Salmon Arm Daybreak Rotary Club is back at it with a new evening event and party! Instead of lobster, we’re going for local. Featuring a long table style dinner, where incredible local food, wine, and atmosphere come together in the heart of DeMille’s Farm Market Orchard – uptown Salmon Arm.
Great local food and Drinks
- Support local – all food sourced from within 50 miles
- Local wine, beer and cider – all from Salmon Arm
- Cahoots Kitchen is back to make the food something to remember.

Dancing under the starts
- Music by the Shades (Vernon) a band with the only goal of getting you dancing
- Dance stage under the stars
- Socialize, Auction, mingle and eat. It’s the Daybreak Rotary Club’s Lobsterfest, but under the stars, and a bigger party!

Doors open 5PM October 4th, 2025
Our club likes to party. What can we say – we’re here for a good time.
Our Rotary club was pretty involved an a big beneficiary of Bollywood 2025. Putting our hand out 3 weeks later and asking those same businesses to support Lobsterfest didn’t feel right.
But we still love hosting an annual event. We decided to do something in the fall instead. We still wanted a chance to put together an evening event, that supports local, and is still a grand old time for those involved! With the tarrif stuff on everyone’s minds, we decided to really focus local and do a 50 Mile Harvest festival. Food from the area, booze from the area, music from the area, taking place in one of those beautiful sites that reminds you why you love this town.
We were recently asked if we could help raise the shortfall money to get lighting installed around new outdoor artificial field being installed at Blackburn park. Lighting the field will let locals play on the field nearly year round – keeping away the dark nights of the fall and winter. Our club has made the promise to match up to $50,000 towards the $100,000 needed. Everything raised from this Harvestfest event is going towards that goal.

The Shades are driving up from Vernon to play every song they know likely to get you dancing.
The Venue matches the vibe – Fall, Cool, and, well, a vibe! Taking place in the DeMille’s Uptown Apple Orchard, we couldn’t think of a more Harvestfest location than that.
Dancing? Dancing. Bring your best shoes for the dance floor, because it will be the place to be on Saturday, October 4th.
